For chapter 3, you are on your own. By this I mean that you will create your own page aboutchapter 3. You will be assigned one of the following topics to create a page about:
Representing Decimals
Comparing and Ordering Decimals
Rounding Decimals
Estimating Sums and Differences
Adding and Subtracting Decimals
Your chapter 3 page should contain the following:
A title that tells what your topic is...2 points
A short lesson on the topic (see the book for an idea of how to write this--don't copy word for word!)...2 points
An example problem...2 points
Links to the websites that you used to help you. If you do not use other websites, then please link to two other websites that explain your topic...2 points
At least one image. Note: since not all of you know how to add video or slideshows or do not have permission to use sites like YouTube, then inserting other media is optional...2 points
Neatness - Make sure your page is organized neatly. Your section titles should stand out; your pictures should be appropriately placed; you must use proper grammar, spelling, and capitalization; check out this page to see a great example. This will be an additional five points.
